HF Ballast

Tamtec Electronics are able to provide high frequency ballasts to drive single, twin, triple or quad lamp configurations. The ballasts are housed in a low-profile case to allow for use in shallow luminaires. All units are designed to be highly efficient which reduces energy consumption, increases light output, and reduces heat dissipation which increases luminaire reliability.

We can provide combi units that not only incorporate the benefits of our HF ballast design, but also the best features of our emergency modules. The result is a single unit that, depending on the model, will run 1-4 lamps on mains and a single lamp on emergency. This can be particularly beneficial on small fittings for compact 2D lamps where thermal problems can be eased by the use of a combi unit.
